SEO Commerce Scanner:
What is holding your store back on Google?
Google decides on the basis of technology, data and structure which categories and products of your store rank. Online stores in particular lose visibility without noticing: filter pages bloat the index, prices and availability are missing from search results, the store loads too slowly on mobile.
In about a minute you see where your store stands and can pass the result on by link to management, IT or your agency. By email you receive how you compare with your five strongest competitors and which gaps cost you the most revenue.
Check your store now
Enter your store address. You immediately see the overall score, the individual areas and the three most important gaps, and can share the result by link with management or IT. On request, you receive the full analysis as a PDF by email.

What Google needs to find in your store.
More than 40 checks in nine areas. Each area answers a question Google asks about your store.
Visibility
For how many search terms does your store appear on Google today, and how high up?
Indexing
Is Google allowed to include your categories and products, or do robots.txt, noindex or wrong canonicals keep them out?
Crawling
Does Google find all important pages via sitemap and internal links, without wasting time on redirect chains and broken links?
Filters and duplicates
Does the store bloat the index with filter, sorting and variant pages that compete with your categories?
Page basics
Does every category and every product have its own title, description and a clear heading?
Loading speed
Does your store pass the Core Web Vitals on mobile, measured with real user data from Google?
Structured data
Does Google recognise price, availability and reviews, so your products stand out in search results?
Images and mobile
Are images described, compressed and in modern formats, and does the store work flawlessly on mobile?
International and AI
Is country targeting set correctly via hreflang, and can the fetch bots of ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity reach your store?
In stores, categories and products decide, not the homepage.
An online store quickly turns a few hundred products into tens of thousands of URLs: filters, sort orders, variants, page numbers. Google spreads its attention across all of these pages, and the categories that are meant to sell lose strength. Many SEO checkers mainly assess the homepage. This scanner checks categories and products the way Google sees them.
It also recognises whether your store runs on Shopware or Shopify and looks for the typical weak points of each system. For every gap, the full analysis tells you where to close it in your system.

Frequently asked questions about the SEO Commerce Scanner.
The scanner measures how well Google can crawl and index your store and present it in search results. It runs more than 40 checks in nine areas, from visibility on Google and indexing and filter pages to loading speed and structured data, and combines them into a score from 0 to 100.
The scanner is built for online stores, not for websites in general. Besides the homepage, it checks categories and products, looks for filter and variant pages in the index and recognises whether your store runs on Shopware or Shopify. The recommendations in the full analysis therefore refer to your system.
Yes, the scan and the short result are free and require no sign-up. For the full analysis as a PDF with competitor comparison and backlink profile, all you need is your email address.
Yes, “Share result” gives you a link to your result. Send it to management, IT or your agency without anyone having to repeat the scan. You can forward the full analysis as a PDF in the same way.
The scanner checks automatically, the SEO check-up is expert work. In the check-up, the SEO/GEO team spends around eight hours analysing the technology, content, competition and AI visibility of your store and reviews the result with you. It is free of charge after a short initial call, with one check-up included per company.
No, the scanner checks any online store and regular websites too. The recommendations in the full analysis are particularly specific for Shopware and Shopify, because arboro works exclusively with these two systems.
Your store blocks automated requests, is password-protected or was not reachable. That in itself is an important finding: if bot protection turns the scanner away, it may also hit search engines and AI assistants. With the full analysis, the team checks your store anyway.
Each store can be scanned anew once every 24 hours. Within that time you see the most recent result. This lets you check changes directly the next day.
The scanner only reads publicly accessible pages of your store, just as Google does. Your email address is only used to send the analysis; you only receive the newsletter if you explicitly select it.
The full analysis names the specific implementation step in Shopware or Shopify for each gap. Your store agency can implement much of it directly. If you would like support, the arboro team takes care of analysis, implementation and ongoing optimisation as part of SEO and GEO, even if your store agency stays.
You have your result. What now?
A score alone does not bring in revenue. In an initial call, you discuss with an expert which gaps cost your store the most and how quickly they can be closed.
